PARKING

Brookhaven lot, the marina parking lot, is free to all Brookhaven residents with a parking permit. Non-residents or unpermitted cars can pay $4.00 an hour at meters.

Free Parking is located at 209 Barnum Ave., Port Jefferson, NY 11777

Metered Parking is located at 34 Roessner, Port Jefferson, NY 11777. Monday - Friday .50 cents an hour. Friday-Sunday $1.00 an hour. Remember your space number, then pay at one of the meters or pay on the mobile parking app (HONKTAP) you can download on your phone right from the boat. The metered lot is bordering Rocket Ship Park, see map below.

Arrive 45 minutes prior to departure time. The boat will not wait for customers parking their cars so please plan ahead and arrive 45 minutes prior to departure to avoid this. Parking is VERY BUSY in Port Jefferson. If you do not plan accordingly and arrive at least 45 minutes prior to sail time you may miss the boat!

From the East or West
- Take the Long Island Expressway to exit 62 North (Nichols Road)
-Take Nichols Road North past Stony Brook University all the way to the end
-Make a right on 25A heading east. Take 25A through the village of Setauket and into the village of Port Jefferson
(Approx 3 miles)
-You will go down the hill, you will come to a traffic light. Go through the light and make a left into the Port Jefferson Town Marina about 200 yards up.
-Note: If you reach a blinking red light and the Ferry boats, you have gone too far.
-We are located on the left hand (west) side of the Town parking lot

The Osprey will be the first boat on the floating docks! Ask for Captain Stew or Captain Amanda.
When boarding the vessel please use the ramps provided at both ends of the floating dock.
Do not use the ladders.
When using the ramps exercise caution and hold on to the railing and children. The ramps may be wet and slippery.
