PLEASE ARRIVE TO THE BOAT 45 MINUTES BEFORE SAIL TIME FOR PARKING AND CHECK IN. THE OSPREY HAS SCHEDULE DEPARTURE TIMES. DEPARTURE TIMES ARE VERY IMPORTANT. UNFORTUNATELY WE CAN NOT WAIT FOR LATE RESERVATIONS.
Port Jefferson is a very busy, very beautiful town. It has a lot to offer! Beautiful stores for shopping, entertainment, dining, It is no wonder parking can take a while! Preparing properly can ensure that you find a spot, are able to load all your gear and then maybe even have time to grab an ice cream cone before departure.
THERE ARE THREE OPTIONS FOR PARKING:
1. Brookhaven lot in front of the boat
118 West Broadway, Port Jefferson, NY 11777
is a Brookhaven lot and free to all residents who have applied for their parking permit. Parking permits are available online. Non-resident or unpermitted cars you can pay $4.00 an hour at meters, located by the flagpole and in the middle of the lot. There are no spot numbers in this lot. You use your license plate number when paying. We suggest downloading the Flowbird app to pay for parking. You can add time to your spot if the boat fishes late. Parking is the responsibility of the individual, the boat can not be held responsible for any parking tickets.

Using Pay Stations
Parking is not guaranteed unless vehicle is physically in a parking space. Parking cannot be paid prior to arrival and securing a parking space.
- Park your vehicle. Vehicles must be parked head-in and within marked lines.
- Remember your license plate number or use your smartphone to take a photo of your vehicle license plate.
- Enter your license plate number at the pay station or use the Flowbird App and pay with your smartphone.
- Select parking duration.
- Pay with cash or credit card. Pay Stations do not dispense change. All pay stations accept coins or credit cards.
- Gray colored pay stations accept $1, $5 and $10 bills.
- Proceed to your destination. There is no need to display a ticket or receipt on vehicle dashboard.
2. Free Parking

There will be a large red sign that says FREE PARKING
and a sign that shows how many spots are available.
3. Metered Parking
Less expensive. Available in the Port Jefferson municipal lot.

Monday - Friday .50 cents an hour. Friday-Sunday $1.00 an hour.
Each parking space is identified by a number in this lot. Remember the number of your space. Locate a pay station in or near the parking lot. Pay stations accept payment in coins and credit cards. It is suggested to use the HONKTAP TO PARK option. QR codes for HONKTAP are located in the cabin of both boats or on the side of the meters. You can pay for parking and add time to your spot number if the boat fishes late. Parking is the responsibility of the individual, the boat can not be held responsible for any parking tickets.
Brookhaven Resident Parking stickers
If you are a brookhaven resident you must buy your yearly parking sticker online. They will not be available at the booth. If you apply for your sticker and want to use the lot prior to receiving it in the mail - no problem! You can park in the lot before getting the sticker. They will run your plate and you will not get a ticket.
